ICT as an empowerment tool



  This subject changed the way I view ICT through realizing that it could be a great help in accesing information and services that has accompanied the growth of the internet. 
  ICT helps us to achieve higher goals by providing some tools to make our tasks more convenient. It has significantly changed the way people live, work, communicate, and learn. 
  I agree on how online sites are being used, it is indeed a great help for us. It helps us to make things easier to be done and it also helps us to improve our skills in various things. There is widespread belief that ICTs can and will empower teachers and learners, transforming teaching and learning processes from being highly teacher-dominated to student-centered, and that this transformation will result in increased learning gains for students, creating and allowing for opportunities for learners.
  If I were have any recommendations regarding ICT uses in the country, it would be the increased improvements on its uses, more features and more discoveries of new technologies for us to become more equip on using ICT as part of our living.

On what way I have used ICT to be part of a social movement, change, or cause?

     Information and Communication Technology (ICT) has contributed a lot to change our everyday life such as letter to e-mail, market shopping to on-line shopping, classroom learning to e-learning, etc. Also, it has contributed immensely to social and economic improvements, such as higher employment and productivity, increasing access to a higher quality of life.   Honestly, I haven't used ICT to be part of any social movement, change, or cause but hopefully, someday.    I want to learn more and improve my skills in terms of ICT. Even I don't have any experience of using ICT in a big project or movement, I can say that ICT had became part of my daily life. It helps me in making my tasks even more convenient and I could not imagine our lives if there is no existing technology.
